Antique 1885 Shepard Hardware Co. Cast Iron Mechanical Trick Pony Bank WORKS Old and Original

Presented for your consideration is this neat mechanical \"Trick Pony\" bank by the Shepard Hardware Company. The bank is made of cast iron and features a horse on top of a platform that is marked with \"Trick Pony\". Underneath the horse\'s mouth is a squaretroth. Bottom of the bank is marked with \"Pat\'d June 2nd and July 7th 1885.\" The bank works by placing a penny in the horses mouth and pulling the lever in the back of the bank. When the lever is pulled the horse bows its head and drops the penny into the troth and into the bank. The bank is in WORKING condition and is guaranteed to be old and original. This neat bank would make a great addition to any mechanical bank collection!

Minor paint wear is present on the bank. No key is included. No dents or breaks. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the best details.

Measures 7\" deep and 2 1/2\" wide at the base and 7 3/4\" tall.
