ANTIQUE PHBN NAUTICAL BRASS HOLOSTERIC BAROMETER AND CASE MADE IN FRANCE IN EXC.VINT. COND

The case is padded inside to protect the Barometer, and is made of wood covered with a thin piece of leather. The leather is coming off a lot on the bottom and somewhat on the top.

I\'m not familiar with the workings of barometers, so I don\'t know about how it\'s functioning.

The glass crystal is beveled at the outside and can give some of the wording a mirror-like effect. It is in excellent condition as is the brass housing.

I didn\'t polish the brass because some people prefer a nice patina.

I Googled this barometer and was not able to find another one, which leads me to believe that this model is extremely rare.
