The four piece rod has brass ferrules and measures slightly over 17 feet.

The only markings on the reel that I have found reads \"PAT. Nov. 14, 1871\" and \"80\" on the seat.

I do not clean orpolish any of my sale items. Too many collectors prefer to do the cleaningthemselves while others prefer the worn look or a nicely aged patina.
