ITEM: You are offerding on an antique original very inventive and inspired in design art deco period C. 1930 decorative Frankart Model L229 figural lamp. This form appears in the 1929-1930 catalog with text that reads \"An aesthetic nude holds a round cylinder of frosted crackle glass which shields the light within it. Glass comes in crystal, rose, amber and green. wired complete. Height over all 12 3/4\" inches.\"
A rare example, this is a forward thinking machine age modernist design and the lamp retains its original rose tubular shade, and factory gun metal factory color finish and original surfaces. A well defined and executed art deco jazz-age in aesthetic iconic design made of spelter metal and marked \"Frankart\".
An original example - in very good not working condition with original socket, switch and shade, the wiring needs to be replaced. 100% guaranteed vintage and original from Grapefruit Moon Gallery.
Please use the 15 uploaded pictures below as your best condition guide!Very good cosmetic condition it needs a new cord and does not work currently, the original socket and switch are present the lamp has been rewired some time ago and does not work, it will need to be rewired to be used. The shade is very likely the original shade that was sold with this lamp 85 years ago, it is crackle glass and one of the color options was this rose color. A nice original antique example, there is some damage and scuffing in her arm and some discoloration in the coloring on the base and her nose has damage and is a little rough as seen in detail. All of that said, still a rare desirable form and desirable signed Frankart Arthur Von Frankenberg lamp, in strong presentable condition.
