Very nice original Uncle Sam Head mechanical bank made by Shepard Hardware cir.1886.Has the vast majority of its original paint and great highlights.One of the nicest ones we have ever sold.To operate ,placea coin into his hand.Press the lever on the side and he will drop it into his case.At the same time , the beard will move back and forth as if he is talking.Very simple operation and the bank works well .Bottom is cast \" PAT JUNE 8 1886 \" .
