This piece is very interesting! The wooden case measures 12 and 5/16\" long. Towards the bottom it says Paris 1830. Maybe this piece was some sort of a prototype, made to carry around for sales or advertizing purposes and so on. The condition is very good with beautiful rich patina inside and out and only missing the hook that would have kept it closed. The glass is in excellent condition and still holds its liquid inside.
