Antique Emerson Fan #21646 Brass Blade and Cage - Runs For Sale

class=\"MsoNormal\">This old Emerson fan still runs smoothly and quietly in allthree speeds, oscillating back and forth on its heavy cast iron base. The brass blades and cage serve to elevatethe display quality of this vintage piece.

Condition: The base and motor housing are in greatcondition, showing little or no corrosion, spotting, or damage. The black finish still shines brightly. The brass blades and cage need a cleaning andpolishing, showing some corrosion and wear.Note that one of the blades is damaged, with a ding on its forward edgeand a bend near the attaching rivets.Please see the pictures for closer detail, and ask for more pics orinformation if you need it. Thatparticular blade is marked “Pat’d Sept. 12-1899.” The opposite blade is marked “The Parker FanBlade.” The cord seems to beexceptionally long at over nine feet, and I’m not sure it is original ornot. You probably already know that thefan has 12 inch blades and a stepped base.
