SUPER MASSIVE AND HEAVY SWORD IN ALL STEEL MOUNTS, THE GRIP IS LEATHER WRAPPED SHOWING WEAR. BLADE IS STRAIGHT SINGLE EDGED AND IS ALMOST FLAT WITH NO FULLERS, ONE SIDE WITH STAMPED ENGLISH CROWN MARKING WITH NUMBER 4 UNDER IT, THE SPINE INSCRIBED \"J.J. RUNKEL, SOLINGEN\" THE STEEL SCABBARD HAS ENGLISH RETAILER\'S NAME ENGRAVED.CONDITION IS VERY GOOD WITH A LOT OF HEAVY PATINA TO ALL STEEL. BLADE AND HILT ARE TIGHT. LIKELY 1796 TO EARLY 1800s.
