ANTIQUE ENGRAVED CLOSED BURGONET KNIGHT\'S HELMET GERMAN ENGLISH ITALIAN / SWORDLARGE IMPRESSIVE HELMET WROUGHT OF WELL HAND FORGED HEAVY GAUGE STEEL AND FULLY ENGRAVED WITH FLORAL VINES AND SCROLLS. FULLY ARTICULATED WITH TWO SPRING BUTTONS WHICH HOLD THE VISORS, ONE BUTTON HAS LOST IT\'S SPRING AND IS NOW MOVES FREELY. THE VISORS OPEN NICE AND FIRMLY.
CONDITION IS VERY GOOD WITH MUCH PATINA AND SOME WEAR. INSIDE OF THE HELMET HAS PITTED SURFACE AND HEAVY PATINA. LIKELY 1600s OR LATER. Please refer to pictures for item condition.
