ANTIQUE FIRE ALARM TELEGRAPH UMBRELLA TAPPER

Very nice antique umbrella tapper with a brass body and anickel plated brass bell mounted on black slate.In working condition. This can bewired along with a punch register, alarm box circuit, etc., etc., and is muchquieter than a house gong. Bell has a nicesound to it.

Tensioner works and is adjustable. External striker. The bell is 3 3/4\" inches across and theslate base measures 4 ¾ x 8 3/4\". Approx.6 ½” high. There are two mountingholes.

Coils are protected.Unit is great shape. Nice andtight to the slate without any wobble.Unit is clean. Unpolished. Overall nice patina. Acorn nut in very nice shape. This is a real nice piece.
