Antique GETTYSBURG ROUNDTOP Civil War Veteran\'s Souvenir CANE ~ Vintage For Sale

An antique hand decorated primitive cane which reads \"ROUNDTOP\". These canes were made from wood gathered at the Civil Warbattlefieldsat Gettysburg and sold as souvenirs at local GAR reunions and Gettysburg events. Geometric and abstract designs were burned into the wood along with the location of where the wood was found. The cane is approximately 36 1/4\" in length. It is warped and shows overall moderate to heavy wear. There is some surface deterioration, some of the designhas faded, and there are chips in the surface material at the handle.
