WELCOME TO MY sale !ANTIQUE HUSSAR OR ARTILLERY OFFICER\'S SWORD FRENCH NAPOLEONIC IN ORNATE MOUNTSTHE MOUNTS ARE OF BRASS WITH VERY ATTRACTIVE DETAILS, THE GRIP IS LEATHER WRAPPED WITH BRASS WIRE. THE SCABBARD IS SOLID BRASS AND HAS RELIEF AND ENGRAVED DETAILS. THE BLADE IS CURVED WITH RAISED FALSE EDGE AND CLIP POINT, IT HAS ENGRAVED DECORATIONS AND FACTORY NAME ON THE SPINE. CONDITION IS VERY GOOD WITH MUCH PATINA, BLADE AND HILT ARE TIGHT. LIKELY 1800s.
