Antique JW London Magic Lantern vintage slide projector brass petzval lens old For Sale

Very old JW London magic lantern slide projector. I am selling it as a prop or display piece because it is missing all of the optics. There are no condenser lenses and the brass projection lens is missing all of the glass optics. Also there is no light source or slide carrier.

It is still a wonderful display piece and with some searching you could find the parts to make it operational again if you wanted to. It is incredibly well constructed with beautifully machined brass components. There is surface rust on the sheet metal parts (they were originally finished with gun bluing and are very prone to rust) There are no large dents or broken or damaged parts. The lens barrel focuses smoothly but as I mentioned before is missing its glass optics.

The projector measures 17\'\' x 10\'\' x 5.5\'\'
