This coffee mill is in nice condition despite the following issues:

The wood handle that turns the wheel has been repaired. The metal end that threads into the bolt thru the wheel had a break in it and was mended using a two part epoxy metal \"WELD\". ...and the bolt that holds this wood handle in place is not original.I did turn the wheel rapidly with it and it is firmly in place...however, with rough handling or tough items to grind I cannot guarantee that the break will not re-occur. An easy to find cheap replacement would be from one of those cast meat grinders that screw onto a table top and commonly found at yard sales and flea markets. The 11th photo shows the wheel before the knob was reattached. If I find a suitable replacement wood knob, I will add that to listingi

The wing nut that secures the hinged center section looks like a replacement, as are the two bolts holding upper body to top receptacle (see photo)

The wheel without the handle hasa set screw near the center missing, but the wheel stays secure to the axle nonetheless..

There are2 patent dates on the cast grinding plates: 1905 and 1910., the top of the base casting is embossed \"L F & C. NEW BRITAIN. cONN. U.S.A.\", but I can find no MODEL # as I see mentioned in some listings.

There are NOcracks, NO breaks in any of the castings.

It measures 11 inches high, plus the 3/4 inch wood base. The wheels are 8.75 inches in diameter.

The all wood drawer is in good shape and solid and fits nicely.

Shippingweight, double boxed for safety,is almost 14pounds, thus the high shipping rate that may appear for your location.

PLEASE NOTE: I brought the DOUBLE box to our local post office to inquire about shipping cost for two possible

international buyers. The weight is a bit over 14 pounds, with some additional Styrofoam between the boxes, shipping will be for 15 lb. I could not change this in the listing for DOMESTIC shipping, but it will be maybe $2 more than what appears.

Cost to Mexico came up $69.60, Australia $103.50....

and I sure would not want to deal with a disappointed buyer with such high shipping costs to return it, so...
