THE LARGE AND COMPLEX GUARD IS OF STEEL WITH PIERCED CLAM SHELLS, THE GRIP IS OF BRAIDED STEEL WIRE. THE BLADE IS VERY LONG DOUBLE EDGED AND MARKED ON BOTH SIDES WITH RUNNING WOLF MARKING AND DATE \"1414\", HAS ONE PERIOD OVERLAP REPAIR.CONDITION IS VERY GOOD WITH PATINA, BLADE AND HILT ARE TIGHT. LIKELY 1400s TO 1600s.
