Antique Menominee Electric Bank Teller Fan Brass Blades Menominee, MI For Sale

An Antique Menominee Electric Bank Teller Fan in \"as found\" condition. This unique looking fan stands 15 3/4\" high with 3 3/8\"brass blades. The cage measures 7 1/4\" in diameter. The serial number on this fan is 969T and I would date it around 1910 or so. It runs on all 3-speeds however does run real slow on the lower speeds. The heavy brass cage is stamped with the name on top. The brass blades are all present and are in good condition. This unit is being sold \"as found, as is\" and has not been cleaned. The brass has the old unpolished patina. The power cord looks original with the old braided fabric and shows a bit of loss in the center of the wire. This fan has a 3-footed base with the original rubber feet. We gave it a little oil on the motor and does run. When it is running on the high speed, it is not consistent. When turned on to run, it needs a nudge or two to go, so I\'m guessing it will need some adjustments and servicing. Overall, it is a very interesting and unique collectible fan.
