An Antique 19th Century Lacquered Brass Magic Lantern / Camera Lens.
Of the Petzval type.
The Wheel Focus Mechanism is working well, moving freely, no signs of heavy wear or structural issues, its Screw Fixings are all firm and intact.
Both the front and rear Element Lenses are in very good order, with only extremely minor signs of cleaning and one or two very small chips to their very edges, no heavy scratches or surface wear, no cracks or major damage, all as shown clearly.
Will need disassembling and cleaning, some light internal dust and mold, as shown.
The Lenses have no movement within their Elements when assembled.
With cosmetic signs of age and use to the Lacquer of the Brass work, no structural issues, dents, breaks or major damage.
Measurements are as shown in the Photographs.
