Antique Philadelphia Enterprise Mfg. Co. #5 Cast Iron Coffee Grinder Mill 1888 For Sale

This antique twin wheel Enterprise Number 5 cast iron coffee mill has a patent date of July 12, 1888. It retains most of its original paint and is mechanically in excellent condition with in tact gears. The wheels turn freely and the internal lever (marked No. 5) that controls the flow of coffee beans from the hopper slides smoothly in place. The porcelain drawer and pull are also original, as is the wood base. The overall height is 17.5 inches, and the wheels have a 12.5 inch diameter. Number 5 Enterprise mills are slightly larger than the more common Number 2 mills.
