They are silver, but I do not know the purity or fineness they are. One of the pins has an old field repair with what looks like a brass pin. Measuresalmost 4 & 3/8incheshinge to hinge and the temples measuresa little under 6\" flattened out and extended. The looped ends are intact and not split. Comes with old case.
