Has ornate chasing and lattice work all around. Opens and closes mechanism works-Marked with French Hallmark stamp that is for silver, but I do not know if it is for Sterling or some fineness. Overall length closed it measures a little over3 & 1/8\" including the handle. Very chic. See other spectacles that I have listed. Please note that I discovered a small file notch underneath the nose bridge. AND DOES NOT FLOP WHEN ITS OPEN - HAS A GOOD SPRING. Also, has a couple of hallmarks but I cannot make them out what they are.
