antique silver with nice stone mezuzah:
$349.99

The mezuzah is a small, parchment scroll inscribed with verses from the Torah (Deuteronomy 6:4-9 and 11:13-21) that are housed in a decorative case and affixed to the doorframe of Jewish homes. The tradition of the mezuzah dates back thousands of years and is rooted in Jewish religious practice and symbolism.
One story often recounted in Jewish tradition regarding the mezuzah involves the biblical figure of King David. According to legend, King David had a powerful and treasured gemstone that he wore around his neck. One day, as he was wandering through the streets of Jerusalem, he encountered a beggar who approached him asking for alms. King David, feeling compassion, gave the beggar his precious gemstone.
Later that evening, when King David returned to his palace, he realized that the mezuzah on his door was missing. Upon further investigation, he discovered that the beggar to whom he had given the gemstone was actually an angel sent by God to test his generosity. The angel had taken the mezuzah from King David's door as a sign of his devotion to charity.
Realizing his mistake, King David was deeply regretful and immediately set out to rectify the situation. He commissioned the creation of a new mezuzah, which he affixed to his doorframe with great reverence and care. From that day forward, King David made it a practice to always give generously to those in need and to prioritize acts of kindness and righteousness.
This story serves as a reminder of the importance of charity, compassion, and the observance of Jewish tradition, as embodied by the mezuzah affixed to the doorposts of Jewish homes throughout the world.
