Antique Silvertone vintage tube radio in tombstone cabinet restored and working For Sale

Up for sale is a 1936 Silvertone antique tube radio model 4585 in a dark walnut tombstone cabinet with ribbed front pillars, intricate grill cutouts and a large golden dial with magic eye in brass escutcheon.It is 8 tube AM/SW/Police radio with five controls for on/off/volume, tone, band selector, sensitivity and tuning.Radio was fully recapped, tubes tested and replaced as needed.Chassis was cleaned and controls lubricated.New dial lights, external antenna, power cord with vintage plug and in line fuse, and new bright green eye tube were installed.AM reception is good and clear. SW is more active late at night.Cabinet was partially stripped, sanded, stained and coated with multiple layers of clear lacquer.There are some blemishes and wood imperfections (see pictures)New vintage grill cloth was installed.All original bakelite knobs are present and operate properly.Dial graphics are very clear and well lit.Dimensions are 16\"Wx11\"Dx21\"H This radio is heavy!Shipping cost to lower 48 states is $32.00.Free local pick up.Thank You!
