This is for a fabulous antique bronze stag beetle letter clip from the late 1800s. This has to be one of the most interesting desktop clip that I havehad for quite a while, its really well made too, with a strong look and great patina.The stag beetle is hinged in the centre so its pincers grip the paper underneath whenits back is depressed and released. The legs are formed on the base which is also decorated with leaves. It is in excellentcondition with no damage to it anywhere and it displays beautifully. The basemeasures120mm (4.75\") by 68mm (2.75\") and the beetles body is 85mm (3.5\")long.
