Antique Victorian era Train Car Table Pedestal Base

This is a Great looking Early Turn of the Century Pedestal style Table Base featuring a Cast Iron Bottom Portion with a Doric Column style Rolled Brass Column at the center. There is acanthus decorations in the brass just below the wooden top portion which I believe would have mounted to a larger Table Top. There are holes in the feet to secure the base to the ground and Overall this 100+ year old Beauty is as Solid as can be & would be a Fabulous addition to any Train Room or Locomotive Collection. This old Beauty could easily be used as a Plant Stand just as it sits but you could add a top and it would be perfect for your old Train Car!

Solid old Base. that displays well with minimal age wear. No Cracks, Repairs or Dents to the Brass or Iron. The top portion is wood and I believe it was the under mount side for a Table Top. Light cosmetic wear and light wear to the edges of the wooden top.
