ANTIQUE VICTORIAN POCKET TRAVELLING QUILL DIP PEN NIB CUTTER WOODEN TOOL BEACH For Sale

This is for a nice antique pocket nib cutter for dip pen quills from the 1840s. It has a wooden handle and a nickel silver hinged tool that opens up to reveal the nib mould inside, once brought down onto the end of a goose quill it would form the end of the pen. The trimmer on the opposite end is marked with the makers name Beach and it is all in good condition with just a slight chip to the handle. It measures 100mm (4\") long x 15mm x 12mm.
