...This is an ANTIQUE Brass and Steel Penny Coin Operated Scale...It is an UNUSUAL scale and was made by Rollins Mfg. of Los Angeles which is a company I can find very little information about...It iscirca 1920s/30s and is metal with manybrass accents...It has a porcelain face and a glass sign on thefront...The glass sign on the front as well as the porcelain face state \"Stand Still Count Heart Beats\"...It has a brass tag on the front as well from Rollins Mfg....The scale does work, but will need some adjusting to function smoothly...As examples, you have to hit the side of the head a couple times to get it to zero back out after use and when you put in the penny it also seems to need a whack on the head to get it to drop and activate the scale...It weighs fairly accurately, but is not precise...Measures 54 inches tall with the head being 9 inches in diameter...NO keys though the rear door is open and can be accessedand it still has the canvas coin bag in place...Overall a nice and unusual scale...I can ship this reasonably to the US and Canada...OTHER INTERNATIONAL buyers PLEASE EMAIL FOR A SHIPPING QUOTE...ALSO We go toSouthern California often so delivery is also possible...Buyer Pays Shipping.
