...This is a VERY UNUSUAL Antique / Vintage Wooden Model Speed Boat (radio)...WAY COOLER LOOKING IN PERSON...It is LARGE being 36 inches long and has the VERY Unusual feature ofbeing a tube radio...It is very well made and has great lines...The rear hatch is metal and underneath it is a Crosley tube radio with the grill in front of it being the speaker...The steering wheel is the tuner knob and next to it is the on/off volume knob...The radio is a Crosley radio and comes with schematics...This models hull issolid wood and is of superior build quality and is so well done to make me feel it may have been a manufactured item asopposed to a one off though I do not know for sure...The workmanship of the wood, metal, and details is top notch...Quite heavy...The radio comes on, but all I can get is some static and hum so it may need radio work to play stations...I have never seen anything quite like this and it really is a wonderful and unusual model boat / radio andsomething you will not likely run across again...Buyer Pays Shipping.
