Up for sale to U.S. customers only is an old electric fan. The brass plate on the top reads: Adams Bagnall Electric Co. of Cleveland with patent dates of 1895 and 1901.It stands about 19 inches tall and each individual blade is about 5 inches long. The cage is made of brass as is the plate on top. The blades might be (a magnet doesn\'t stick) but decided to sellthe fan pretty much in as-found condition to avoid damaging the finish any further (photos tell the story of condition). I\'ll leave any refinishing to the new owner. The cords and plug seem in pretty good condition; I started it up once and it worked fine (see last picture) on two speeds. I don\'t know if it was supposed to rotate because I didn\'t want to push my luck on the electrical system so didn\'t test it further.
I don\'t know anything else aboutthis itemso please ask questions. Thanks for looking and please check out my other sales.
NOTE: I have foundthat the shipping calculator is not always reliable so please use the shipping cost as a guide only. Do not pay for the item until I send you an invoice with correct shipping cost. Sorry, but I have ended up losing money on shipping charges. I also reduce shipping cost if I can find a cheaper shipper.
I try very hard to satisfy all my customers, and I think my response shows it. In order to avoid unpleasant surprises, please email me with questions before the sale ends. Some buyers have requested refunds because they thought they were getting something other than what was described and pictured. I\'ll answer all questions and even send extra pictures, but if you don\'t ask in advance then you can\'t expect me to give you a refund because you made some assumptions about the item. I\'m not an expert on most of the things I sell, nor a mind reader, so I\'d like to clear up questions as much as you would.
