Good plus condition Argentine Model1879 Remington Rolling Block rifle bayonet. Manufactured under contract inGermany and is maker marked “W.R. KIRSCHBAUM SOLINGEN” on the right ricasso. Leftricasso is marked “RA inside circle” for Republica Argentina. Blade hasoriginal bright finish with some scattered gray and brown. Edge has a few tinynicks and dings. Guard has original bright finish with a little old varnish.Brass grip has bright color with some old varnish. Lock button and leaf springfunction fine. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that has nice rebluedfinish and several dents. A very scarce Argentine M1879 bayonet for your collection.
