Antique/vintage signed Inupiaq( Inupiat, Eskimo) coiled in close stitch, baleen basket. Coiled in close stitch with subtle design around the middle. Hand carved finial depicting a whale tail. Signed on the bottom exterior circular piece of basket. Signed “ James Omnik” with PHO under the name. Number above the name looks like 49 or could be 99.  Please check all photos and ask any questions. Basket sold as found. Approximately 3 1/2 inches tall to top of finial and approximately 3” wide.
