Au Lion fighting knife with a 6.6\" double edge blade, 11.2\"overall. Leather handle with heavyiron guard and pommel. Skull crusherpommel nut. Blade marked with \'AuLion\' and lion figure. In leather beltsheath. No other markings.
Don\'t know history, but previous owner said this was madefrom the blade of a WWI US MK1 1918 trench knife.
