ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE MARCH, 1963 UK MONO \' PLEASE PLEASE ME\' ALBUM COVER SIGNED BY ALL FOUR BEATLES! SIGNED RIGHT AFTER THE ALBUM\'S RELEASE IN MARCH, 1963! ALSO SIGNED BY TWO NOTED ARTISTS FROM THEIR TOUR IN MARCH, 1963! (Tommy Roe & Chris Montez!)Fully signed uk original 1963 mono \'please please me\' album cover signed by all four members of the Beatles. (Parlophone PMC-1202.) The album was released on march 22nd, 1963 and was signed between March 22nd and March 31st while on tour with Tommy Roe and Chris Montez. All four have signed in beautiful full name in blue ballpoint pen. George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney and John Lennon have all signed this album cover. John Lennon adds \"To Linda Love From The Beatles\" above his signature and \"XXX\" below it. In addition to the Beatles, artists Chris Montez and Tommy Roe have also signed the cover who were on the tour at the time. This is a nice signed example on the reverse of their debut album. Signed albums are among the rarest and most coveted of all collectible Beatles items there is. It has been estimated by the known examples that exist today, that there are only about 60 to 75 fully signed albums, give or take a few. That\'s a startling low number. This was simply because most fans were not prepared when their fateful \"chance encounter\" with the Beatles took place. Most of them reached in their purses or pockets and grabbed whatever could be written on. And most assuredly, and most often, the full size album covers were left at home. That makes a signed album extremely rare indeed. They are far scarcer than most people realize. Signed \'Please Please Me\' LP covers are very desirable being their first album. Those signed closer to the release date are better yet. The cover is in VG condition overall. Seams are intact. The usual handling and creasing, but not split, etc. The ink is all original with the outer areas darkening some with age. Looks fantastic however.This LP cover has had some conservation and cleaning done by a paper restoration expert, thus improving the overall aesthetics. The name and address of the original owner \"Linda\" of the album once written on it has been cleanly removed.
