Beaulieu 4008ZM Super-8 Camera Recent CLA For Sale

Here is an excellent Beaulieu 4008ZM Super-8 Camera! If you\'re looking at this, you probably already know what it is, and how awesome these cameras are!What you probably also know is that most of these precision cameras are old and have never been serviced, which causes them to be erratic or just plain inoperable! That is how this camera was before I had it overhauled (at great personal expense) by Du-All camera in 2007 (approximately - haven\'t found the receipt yet).When I got it back, I ran about 10 rolls of film through it then no longer needed it. So I put it away for safe keeping. Since then, the battery has long since died. However, I just hooked it up to a 7.2V bench supply to test it out. It still sounds and works great!This camera has never been abused by me. It worked fine for what I shot, and never let me down. Since it was serviced not too long ago, I imagine with care it will serve it\'s new owner very well!Cosmetically, the camera is great except for a little ding just above the Beaulieu tag on the left side. See the pictures. It was like this when I got it and doesn\'t effect anything. The Angenieux 8-64mm 1:1.9 lens is clean and clear and includes the metal lens cap. Zoom works nice and smooth. Also includes the deceased battery, in case you want to use it to create your own battery adapter.Please examine the photos.Again, you will need a new battery, or a power adapter (recommended) to use this camera. Other than that, all you need is creativity and film!As this is a delicate instrument that, if mishandled, can be damaged, I am selling AS-IS, no refunds. However, please check my response.
