An excellent and large example of Gunnel Nyman\'s \"String of Pearls\" vase design for Nuutajarvi Notsjo.It measures 8 3/4\" tall, and 5\" at the widest. Very thick and heavy, and without chips, nicks, cracks, or serious scratches.I see one minor and insignificant surface mark that may have come from the making.The vase is very clean on the inside, and glass quality overall is brilliant and clear.
Older Nuutajarvi works typically bear a painted acid signature which is often very faint, and difficult to discern.That is the case here, and it is possible that the heavy wear to the bottom has completely worn away the signature.Regardless, I guarantee this vase to be authentic, allowing for it to be returned for a full refund should the eventual high buyer be disappointed.
