BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL 1938 ZENITH 15-U-269 - VIDEO PLAYING For Sale

Offered is this hard to find 1938Zenith 15-U-269.Very clean andfinely preserved Zenith 15 tube radio. Cabinet is completely original and beautiful. There were very few small scratches and nicks that were completely covered up with a wipe of furniture polish. This radio has been very well taken care of for the last 76 years!

Radio has had all of the capacitors and any out of tolerance resistorsreplaced. All controls were cleaned and work as they should.This radio plays exceptionally well, is very sensitive and has deep bass and plenty of volume. I\'ve owned many Zenith consoles and this one tunes and plays better than any other one I\'ve owned. The audio is a noticeable improvement from the lesser tube sets. The chassis is very clean and the original speaker has no damage. Grill cloth is original and only has one small horizontaltear on the very bottom left which is hard to see. Would be veryeasy to reinforce the cloth from the rear. All dials are near perfect and as nice as I\'ve found. The knobs are wood and original to the set. This would make a great center piece for your Zenith or radio collection!

I KEPT ALL THE ORIGINAL ZENITH BRANDEDCAPACITORS AS I WAS GOING TO RESTUFF THEM WHEN I GOT TIME, WHICH I NEVER DID. THEY WILL BE INCLUDED WITH THE RADIO. EVERY CAPACITOR WAS ORIGINAL IN THIS SET.
