This is a beautiful vintage squash blossom choker necklace, circa 1970's, made by the famous Navajo Silversmith, Benjamin Haley. He was a Silversmith for the Atkinson Trading Company which is the arrow symbol under his initials.
This is a traditional all silver squash blossom necklace set with lovely natural turquoise stones. It is a perfect necklace for the lady who prefers a smaller and lighter in weight version of a squash blossom. The naja has four stones set in a fantastic design with silver raindrops and twisted wire. It measures 2" long and 1 1/2" wide. There are four squash blossoms on each side of the bench beads which are strung on wire and which end with a hook and eye closure.
This gorgeous necklace or choker weighs 51.5 grams and measures 16 1/2" from end to end. It is in excellent vintage condition. It is hallmarked "B.H." and accoring to "Hallmarks of the Southwest" by Barton Wright it was first used in 1974in 1/16 gothic print.
