Beautiful black glass dutch onion bottle from the 1700s. It is a wonderful olive green with a light patina all over the glass. The bottle is hand blown with an applied lip and very nice broken off pontil, raised approximately 1 1/2\". It has some normal wear from being buried in the sand for so long such as light scratching on bottle (a little heavier on one side). It is in great condition though, with no chips, cracks, etc.
The bottle measures approximately 7\" tall and 5\" wide.
This is a great example of a dutch onion bottle dating approx. 300 years old and would be a wonderful addition to your black glass collection.
