BLOMER & SCHULER AERO-CAR 500
You are offerding on an old and rare flying aero-car 500. It is clockwork operated and made in U.S-Zone Germany (BLOMER & SCHÜLER) in the early 1950s. It measures about 7.5" long (19cm) and is in excellent condition with strong colours. The red body shows only light wear from age and use. The grey base and the wings from the underside show typical playwear and have scratches here and there.
The wind-up operated motor works nicely and the car has following actions: It moves forward, wings on both sides fans out, same time the axle (propellers) in the radiator comes outwards and begins to spin. After moving forward a few inches it then retracts both wings and the axle (propellers). The cycle repeats. The lever on the base works also (normal or a flying car). The on-off switch on the back does NOT stop the car from running.
Please note that the car IS MISSING the triple blade propeller from the radiator. A very nice example of this rare and complex mechanical car. Comes with a replacement key. No Box.
