Buffet Crampon Evette & Schaeffer Wood Clarinet
Up for your consideration, is this beautiful Buffet Crampon Wood Clarinet. This is the Evette & Schaeffer model. It is made of Grenadilla wood with nickle keys. This horn has undergone a light restoration which included all new pads and corks. The upper and lower sections were disassembled and thoroughly oiled. All keys were polished and corks were replaced. The horn plays very well. Both upper and lower joints reflect the serial #B7995. This includes the original Buffet Crampon barrel as well as a VanDoren 5RV mouthpiece. I\'ve also included a couple of new reeds and a stick of cork grease for a complete package.
Wood clarinets offer a much warmer, mellow tone compared to composite horns. This horn is suitable for the intermediate to advance student or even a professional player. In excellent condition, the only noteworthy item is that there appears to have been a hairline crack that wasprofessionally repaired on the BELL ONLY. This does not affect the performance of the horn in any way. It is so fine that I was not able to capture it on the photos. It is difficult to even notice it, but I feel it\'s important to disclose. Sold as-is. The original case is also included. It\'s in good, serviceable condition. The springs in the latches are weak, but the latches still work. Inside is nice with no foul odors.Thank you for looking.
