This is an unused Buffet Crampon Prestige Basset Clarinet inA. Wood, mechanic, cork, pads etc. - Everything is in perfect condition! Beautiful silver plated keys. Nocracks, no any marks in wood or keys.
It has been chosen directly from Buffet factory line inParis, Mantes la Ville, among nice selection of basset clarinets on 11th of Dec2003. This basset is excellent one; you’ll have a hard time to find better one!Beautiful tone, perfect mechanism, perfectly in tune – also low notes. It’spure joy to perform for example concerto or quintet by W.A. Mozart with thisinstrument – in their original version. It descends to low C like these masterpieces.
Pitch 440/442hz (Buffet makes just one model, they have sameinstrument for both pitch) .
This instrument comes with one 65mm barrel which is for 442hz.For lower tuning you need to purchase a barrel of 66mm or 67mm. The instrumentplays perfectly in tune with both pitch.
