This is a complete (NO pieces missing) toy or childrens\' magic lantern projector. It is unusual in that it was meant to be held in the hand for proection. This type of lantern was given free before the turn of the last century as a premium for selling x number of perscriptions for magazines like \"The Boys Own Paper.\" Very hard to find.
