Rare and original, ca1932 Repeal of Prohibition enamel illustrated Beer Glass. This beautiful Beer Glass is made of a very thin glass with an applied illustration of a \"hanging tree\" with the thin and gangly figure of a \"Prohibitionist\" hanging dead from a limb. There is a rolled up scroll in his back pocket that reads \"Prohibition\" and text above the image that reads \"Good Bye Forever\". The Glass measures 3 1/2\" tall and 2\" in diameter at the base. Some folks call these Whiskey Glass or large Shot Glasses but, in truth this was a typical Barroom Beer Glass of the period - in fact I remember in the 1970\'s being served 25 cent drafts in this same size and shape glass at the Central Square Bar in Cambridge, Massachusetts!!
This rare and original, End of Prohibition Saloon Beer Glass is in excellent condition. The Glass is clean and crisp with no discoloration or physical damage - no chips, cracks, flea-bites, roughage or repairs of any kind. The enamel surface decoration is well preserved and the Glass displays nicely.
