Very rare and original, ca1910 Chromolithograph Celluloid Advertising Pocket Mirror for Ruppert\'s Knickerbocker Beer brewed by the Jacob Ruppert Brewing Company of New York City. The Mirror featuring an image of an early 20th century, long neck bottle of Knickerbocker Beer with a Colonial figure standing beside it.
This very attractive, Advertising Mirror measures approx. 1 3/4\" by 2 3/4\" and features text that says \"The Beer That Satisfies\". The Mirror is signed by the manufacturer - the Parisian Novelty Company of Chicago.
This rare and original, ca1910 Celluloid Advertising Mirror is in excellent condition - generally clean and crisp and very attractive with no soiling or staining, nor any damage or repairs of any kind to the celluloid surface. While we have encountered this Mirror with a white background we have never encountered one with this cream colored background. We do not believe that this is age toning as it is uniform front and back. The mirror back is also in excellent condition with just a couple of tiny spots of loss to the silver backing.
