ca1939 CAST IRON HORSE DRAWN OVERLAND CIRCUS POLAR BEAR WAGON TOY By KENTON For Sale

Wonderful, ca1939 Cast Iron Toy, Horse Drawn “Overland Circus” / “Polar Bear Cage” Wagon manufactured by Kenton Hardware Co. This early, cast iron Toy Circus Wagon measures 14” long overall, 7 1/2\" tall (to the top of the original drivers head) and 3 1/2\" wide. The red Cage Wagon is drawn by 2 white horses. The Toy includes the Wagon section; the horse and front wheel section; the original, cast iron polar bear and the original “Driver” figure. All parts are cast iron except for the floor and roof of the Cage which are tin (original “as manufactured”).

The Cage Wagon features red paint with yellow and white, spoke wheels. It is drawn by two, white horses (with gold harness highlights) attached to a yellow whiffletree. This wonderful, all original, Cast Iron Toy came to us as part of a small collection of die cast and cast iron toys that we will be selling over the next few weeks on .

This wonderful, ca1939, Horse Drawn Overland Circus Polar Bear Cage Wagon is in very good original condition. It is 100% original and has never been repainted, touched-up, restored or altered in any way. The Wagon section retains approx. 90% of its original red paint. The horses and undercarriage retains approx 80% of their original paint and highlights. We have included below a number of images that give a good indication of the condition of the surface paint on this large and very attractive Toy. There are no crack, breaks, chips, repairs or physical damage of any kind to the cast iron.
