cairns leather fire helmet SFFD For Sale

Beautiful original Cairns leather San Francisco FD Fireman’s helmet from Truck 4. Size is 6 7/8 factory no earflap liner with paper label and metal crown disc with no date code. Has Fireman’s name painted under the brim. SFFD front with Cairns stamped SFFD on bottom rocker and possible SFFD shops letters applied on top rocker? Missing the “C”. 4 on front is not Cairns applied which is very common with SFFD helmets. Liner is excellent condition with foam padding intact. Truck 4 front looks to be original to helmet as there are four holes in it and only four in helmet, all of which line up perfectly. Two color Cairns front holder has very slight bend in it.
