• The Caterpillar 277C features a Cat C3.4 DIT engine with a total of 84 horsepower and it has an engine displacement of 201 cubic inches. The engine displacement refers to how much fluid the pistons can move from the top dead center to bottom dead center with one movement. The engine bore refers to the diameter of the cylinders, and this diameter is 3.7 inches in this engine. The engine stroke is 4.7 inches, which is the full length of movement of the piston.
