Cat D5 bulldozer . Fresh Engine, Sweeps and Screens For Sale

I am selling this D5 due to lack of use. I bought it in 06 and have used it on the ranch since then. When I bought it, the engine(3306 na) was pretty tired and using oil so I did a in -frame on it. New pistons liners and bearings and the head was redone. Runs great and is strong no problems there. The radiator was rodded out and resealed and water pump replaced in 2014 .Hydraulic pump was replaced at 1050 hours in 2014 as well. I also had to replace 2nd gear in the transmission somewhere back due to it popping out of gear, the reason I mention this is that the other gears and internals looked great when it was opened up for repair. I have been good on keeping the engine and trans and hyd filters changed and the tractor has been very reliable. The undercarriage is in decent shape, the rails are probably around 50% but maybe better. One idler was rebuilt and the other replaced not long after I got it, they are both in great shape The sprocket segments need to be changed. they are pretty sharp, the rollers are fair but worn. The pads are probably 50% the grousers are around an inch or better. The cylinders were repacked but the chrome rods have some scratches and nicks and they do leak a little not horrible though. You have to add a gallon or so after a hard day running. The blade is a straight blade with power tilt. Push arms are good and the trunnions are not sloppy.Comes with a good factory built grubbing rake I paid close to $2000 for. I also have a draw bar for it , it isn't installed right now but comes with the dozer.The dozer has full engine enclosures and brush sweeps and heavy screens to protect the operator from brush. This is a really good Farm/Ranch dozer and should give someone years of good service. I have had a good time with it but haven't needed it much in the last year or two so she needs a new home.I will answer any other questions you might have, and assist in loading when the time comes.Understand this is a older dozer no warranty expressed or implied, I have done my best to describe it honestly I'm sure there are things that I forgot, both good and bad; but I feel good about the description being right.
