It is an elegant, functional, unique product, completely handmade in Colombia. It is a totally genuine leather bag, combined with a Spanish Cedar box that will protect your best and appreciated cigars.
This idea arises from a leather bag called Carriel created in the Antioquia region for country men due to its functionality, since it is a bag that has numerous pockets and compartments, some called "secrets." All this to make it easier for the peasant to carry his fundamental tools which for them are: money, shaver, hair comb, lantern, candle, a pair of dice, the Spanish deck, poker, lock of the girlfriend hair, thread needles, matches, notebook and pencil, among other things.
The name Carriel is not precisely known where its etymology is from, it is said that it comes from the French Cartier, which means hunter's bag, or also, by linguistic evolution, from the English expression Carry all (load everything). So it is very logical that our creation was called CIGARRIEL which is the union of CIGAR and CARRIEL, so it keeps all the essentials of a cigar fan and among others.
Seeing that it is a bag with a great capacity to carry accessories and as it is an icon of the region and a cultural emblem, it was decided to transform the CARRIEL into a CIGARRIEL, this means in a functional and necessary bag for cigar fans since Its entire internal structure was used so a cigar enthusiast can carry all the accessories necessary for a great and fabulous smoke.
The outside of the CIGARRIEL is totally the structure and shape of an Carriel, but inside it is a case designed for fans of cigars since it has a special compartment for a whiskey flask, three slots to store credit cards, pen holder, lighter and cutters pockets, a strap for your cigar rest and the most importantly a cedar box to conserve the humidity of your most precious cigars, this wooden box is covered in 100% leather with Velcro at the back that gives you the possibility to remove it from the bag, turning the CIGARRIEL into a two-in-one product, since they are two independent parts that correlate to obtain a case that is unique in its essence on the market.❤️
