Civil War Bannerman Military School Non Firing Musket Springfield For Sale

Up for sale is this Bannerman Military School musket. This is a non-firing musket. This musket is made of mostly Springfield parts which are 1864 USA Springfield lock, Springfield barrel bands, Springfield trigger guard, and butt plate. It has an Enfield style ramrod. The barrel has an 8 inch section of a Springfield barrel with a front site. The barrel has a steel breech, a 21 1/2 \" wooden center with the aforementioned 8\" section. The stock is in fair condition with a crack under the lock and is missing some wood at the front of the lock. See photos. In addition the lock is missing the spring that returns the trigger to position. This was done to keep it from holding in a firing position. The front lock screw was broken off in the lock and has been drilled out carefully. The threads are intact but it still needs some work to get the screw to go all the way through. At the ramrod channel there is some wood missing.

Overall length of the musket is 47 1/2\".
