Coil condenser for 3\" column E85 moonshine reflux still w/ mesh For Sale

This sale is for a double helix wound coil condenser. This item is roughly 11\" long (coiled from 10\' of 1/4\" copper tubing) and fits inside a 3\" column. Unit only requires 1/4\" ID clear tubing and small hose clamps (not included), or you can use 1/4\" compression fittings and convert to hose barb or male thread. I can supply these fittings upon request if needed.Tested design! Depending on your still setup this may require a $10 1/4\" needle valve to operate your still at optimal performance. I supply mesh to help in the aid of cooling, however, I have never had to use it. I just include it as a safety precaution since I have tons of it :) If you would like a 1/4\" npt fitting on the output side as well just shoot me a message I will add it for $2.This item has been coiled using salt, you will have to spend a few minutes tapping out the salt, or hook it to pressurized water, it will dissolve in 20-30 minutes. Here\'s the easiest way!!! Hold it upside down. Tap until salt freely pours out. Then slowly rotate counterclockwise to remove salt from left side or clockwise to remove salt from right side. As you slowly rotate the salt will work its way down the tube. After about 5 minutes in both directions you can then hook to a hot water supply to dissolve the rest of the salt.
This design has been tested and resulted in the best design for reflux columns. Do not be fooled by the ones that are being sold where the copper is tightly wound against itself. This only results in less surface area for cooling. You want some gap between the coils. This causes turbulence which causes the vapor to come in contact with the cooled copper, which in turn makes it a liquid again. A coil tightly wrapped against itself means a loss of surface area, which means more copper is needed to do cool your vapor. As we all know more copper = more $$$!!!
